SiteRx Patient Identification & Recruitment Platform

Organization Overview

SiteRx is a health technology company supporting patient identification and recruitment for clinical trials, with a particular focus on neurology and Alzheimer’s disease. It maintains the largest neuro-focused real-world database in the U.S., built through direct EHR integrations with community providers via its independent SiteRx Practice Services division. Its clinical approach is shaped by CMO Dr. Ira Goodman, a practicing neurologist and principal investigator.

Clinical Trial Recruitment Resource

SiteRx’s recruitment model rests on four pillars: Access (its neuro-focused real-world data network), Clinical Excellence (matching health records against trial criteria), Logistics Coordination (enhanced workflows with sites), and Site Burden Relief (pre-qualified referrals delivered with full health records). Using structured and unstructured EHR data—diagnosis, cognitive testing, medications, co-morbidities, imaging, biomarkers, genetic testing, and physician notes—SiteRx pre-qualifies candidates before referral, confirms genetic and biomarker status, and builds trial-ready cohorts ahead of first patient visit (FPV). Confirmed referrals are delivered to sites with complete records through the PatientPath portal

Metrics

  • Geographic Footprint: 36 active states; expansion into additional states
  • Network Scale: 10M+ patients accessible via EHR integrations; 5,000+ participating providers; 35%+ diverse enrollments
  • Trial Experience: 80+ industry-led trials supported; top U.S. enrollment contributor for approved AD therapies; Phase 1–3 across the AD spectrum
  • Precision Matching: Diagnosis, cognitive testing, medications, co-morbidities, imaging, biomarkers, genetic testing, physician notes
  • Access: Real-time identification via thousands of integrated EHRs; referrals delivered with full records via the PatientPath portal

Discussion

Screen failure, costly procedures such as PET scans and lumbar punctures administered to candidates who ultimately prove ineligible, is one of the largest cost drivers in early-phase Alzheimer’s trials. SiteRx’s EHR-embedded pre-qualification model targets this directly by decreasing screen failures, improving referral performance, and converting referrals to enrollment.

For sponsors, this means lower per-patient screening costs and faster randomization; for physicians, particularly research-naive community physicians, a structured way to offer research as a care alternative; for patients, access to trials through a trusted, existing relationship.
