Aging and Cognition

CeASES-ADRD

The Center for Advancing Sociodemographic and Economic Study of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (CeASES-ADRD) supports innovative research on the health, economic and social impacts of dementia by identifying opportunities to reduce risk and costs of dementia, improve access and care, and advance solutions for achieving health equity.

Alzheimer's disease is on the rise

14 million Americans will be afflicted by this ultimately fatal condition by 2060. This steep increase will impact not only patients, but family members, caregivers and the broader healthcare system.

CeASES-ADRD will advance innovative social science research on dementia, including developing a global, dynamic microsimulation model of ADRD to estimate the full burden of this disease on society.

About CeASES-ADRD
