Biography
Toni Mankowitz is a Research Program Specialist at the USC Schaeffer Center, supporting Dr. Genevieve Kanter. She has contributed to research on conflicts of interest within FDA advisory committees, regulatory capture through the revolving door between public- and private-sector employment, and other regulatory issues, including the medical outputs of large language models and drug safety.
Prior to joining the USC Schaeffer Center, Toni worked as an accounting assistant at Edmunds.com and as an assistant in the reentry department of the Aleph Institute. She holds a B.S. in Public Policy with a concentration in Data Analytics from the University of Southern California.
