Biography
Jose J. Scott is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the USC Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics. His research focuses on how poverty shapes people’s lives, with an emphasis on economic insecurity, social welfare programs, and the behavioral and health impacts of economic hardship. He received his PhD in Public Policy and Management (2025) and Master’s in Public Administration (2020) from the Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California.
