The Role of Physicians and Healthcare Systems in Improving Population Health

Hosted in collaboration by three NIA-funded P30 centers—the Center for Advancing Sociodemographic and Economic Study of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia (CeASES ADRD), the USC AD/ADRD Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (RCMAR), and the Roybal Center for Behavioral Interventions in Aging—this webinar will explore how physicians and healthcare systems shape population health and dementia care.

This event will feature presentations from junior scholars and pilot awardees from each of the three centers, with topics including variation in dementia diagnoses across primary care providers, healthcare use and costs among older adults with ADRD, and clinician-focused nudging interventions. We’ll also be joined by two invited experts who will deliver high-level talks on system-level approaches to improving care and outcomes.
