Biography
Ruochen Sun is an Assistant Research Professor at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, working in health economics and public finance. Her research examines how government policy and market design can be leveraged to improve access and efficiency in health care, especially for the low-income population. Her recent projects study spatial frictions in care access, the impact of administrative burden, and the design of government procurement in health care markets. She received her Ph.D. in Applied Economics and Management Science from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and B.S. in Economics from Beihang University in China.
