Biography
Michelle Xuan is a Research Program Specialist at the USC Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics, where she supports Julie Zissimopoulos’s work on the U.S. Cost of Dementia Project, the Center for Advancing Sociodemographic and Economic Study of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (CeASES-ADRD), and the USC Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease Related Dementias Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (USC AD/ADRD RCMAR).
Michelle holds a B.S. in Public Policy with a concentration in Health Policy and Management from the University of Southern California. Prior to joining the Schaeffer Center, Michelle worked in the offices of Rep. Betty McCollum (MN-04) and Rep. Grace Meng (NY-06), conducting federal health program research and drafting constituent policy communication on Medicare, Medicaid, and drug pricing. Her policy interests include addressing geographic and racial disparities in healthcare access for aging and underserved populations.
