Biography
Marianne Chanti-Ketterl, PhD, MSPH is an Assistant Professor in the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, Division of Behavioral Medicine & Neurosciences at Duke University. She is a senior fellow at the Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development at Duke University and serves as the Associate Lead for the Outreach Recruitment and Engagement Core of the Duke-UNC Alzheimer’s Disease Research Collaborative. She received her PhD in Aging Studies from the University of South Florida and completed a postdoctoral NIH/NIA-funded fellowship at Duke University.
Chanti-Ketterl’s research focuses on the epidemiology of cognitive function, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Her current research explores the association between environmental factors such as pesticide exposures and cognitive health. Her RCMAR project examined ethnic disparities in the association between pesticide exposures and cognitive function.
