Biography

David Dorsey is a Home Department Payroll/Personnel Coordinator II at the USC Schaeffer Institute. He oversees payroll and personnel processes, coordinates hiring activities, and supports faculty and staff across the Institute.

Before stepping into this role, David served as an HR Solutions Associate with USC Central Business Services. There he supported employees across the university with HR inquiries, benefits guidance, and case resolution. He previously worked in HR with USC Athletics, where he supported the operations of a fast-paced and event-driven environment. He also held an HR role with Dr. Squatch Soap Co., contributing to operations during a period of significant company growth.

David received his B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resources and Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills. A Los Angeles native, he enjoys sports, travel, and exploring statistics and predictive modeling in his spare time.
